Hardwood and Engineered Wood

For installation success, it is important that time is spent preparing the flooring to ensure it is at the ideal condition for the installation. These include acclimatization of the timber flooring, acceptable moisture levels and a levelled smooth sub-floor. Hardwood and engineered flooring can be installed using the click system on an underlay, the glued down system, Elastilon self-adhesive mat or nail down method. TWF specialises in the installation of hardwood and engineered flooring and has extensive experience in all the installation methods.
Installation Of Decks
TWF fits both composite and wooden decks, both options that offer both durability and longevity. Our decks whether wooden or composite, are fitted according to industry standards in terms of structure. We ensure that our decks are properly sealed and allow for ventilation and drainage.
Damp Treatment
It crucial to consider the moisture content for the installation of all flooring. Moisture readings are taken prior to installation. Appropriate damp treatment options will be recommended, should the moisture content exceed acceptable levels. TWF will be able to assist with various treatment options as well as installation of moisture barriers.
Floor Leveling Service
For a good-looking floor it is essential for the floor to be smooth and flat. An uneven floor that is not level could result in warping, buckling and visible gaps in the floor. In addition, this could increase the wear and tear of the floor. TWF can assist in floor levelling services through the installation of self-levelling compounds.
Restoration and Repair
Based on the condition of your floors or deck, TWF will recommend the following options:
- Refresh – Buffing and recoating existing floors.
- Restoration – Sanding and Sealing and existing floor to ensure surfaces are scratch-free, smooth and attractive.
- Renew – Installation of a new floor.
